Hi Jeff. That is a really good question. The short answer is that it is probably both.

I don't have any info from Eddie's team of promotions people about the content but I can say from personal experience with seeing 4 of Eddie's live shows that no two shows are ever alike.

Eddie has said in interviews that he likes to always roll new content in while touring to keep himself entertained, and by the end of the tour it is a completley different show. Something about a molten material method.

I am guessing some material will be the same based on how much of a reaction they get from crowds and how much he is still entertained by them and a lot of the show will be all new. But I'm not someone who has the official inside scoop either. It's just my best guess.

If you want to hear him talk about how he goes about creating his material you can buy this interview he did with the NY Times Talks back in 2003. http://www.jakeludington.com/audiobooks/TimesTalks_-_Eddie_Izzard__Up_Close.html I don't usually recommend purchasing something like that except I have the download from iTunes and found it very entertaining and informative about doing standup.

I can't seem to find anywhere on the 'net if this is a new show ("Stripped TOO" seems to subtlely imply new material will be a part of the show?) with new material, or if this is just a re-hashing of his Stripped Tour (which I saw in Chicago in '08), just geared toward a larger more grandiose "arena" audience. Could you help clarify? I'd love to see him again but don't know if the trip is worth it to see his same act again. Thx
