    October 2009
    October 15th -17th
    TOM ARNOLD & FRIENDS
From “The Best Damn Sports Show” & “The Roast of Joan Rivers”
As a writer, producer, and actor, Tom Arnold has established himself to both television and film audiences worldwide, having won such awards as the Peabody Award and a Golden Globe Award. Additionally, he helped put Fox Sports Network on the map with his hosting duties on “Best Damn Sports Show Period.” Arnold cornered the market on playing the resident comic relief in films like “Nine Months” with Hugh Grant, Julianne Moore, and Robin Williams, “True Lies” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, “Hero” with Dustin Hoffman, and “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” with Mike Myers. Arnold has successfully broken out of the comedic stereotype and is becoming a fixture at film festivals by landing more mature and dramatic roles. He received critical praise for his role in “Gardens if the Night,” opposite John Malkovich, “The Great Buck Howard” starring John Malkovich and Tom Hanks, “Good Dick” opposite Jason Ritter, and “The Year of Getting to Know Us” opposite Sharon Stone, Jimmy Fallon and Lucy Liu. Tom’s other credits include the highly successful television series, “Roseanne,” and eventually serving as executive producer for the sitcom. He went on to star in his own HBO special entitled “Tom Arnold: The Naked Truth,” and then wrote, produced and starred in his own television series “The Jackie Thomas Show,” “Tom” and “The Tom Show.” Showtimes: Thur 7:30 Fri 8:00 & 10:15 Sat 7:00 & 9:15 Sun 7:00PM Tickets: $24

    Mark Curry
    From Hanging with Mr. Cooper
Since his long running show “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper”, which is still in syndication in 6 countries (really?) , ended he has continued his TV, film, and stand up career. He hosted several hit shows: “Coming to The Stage” (BET), “Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush” (Comedy Central), “Animal Tales” (PAX), and “Showtime at the Apollo”. He has had major roles in “Fat Actress” with Kirstie Alley (Showtime), “Def Comedy Jam” (HBO), along with numerous specials on HBO and Comedy Central. He recently appeared at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival where he was a headliner on the show taped for TBS. He continues to have a heavy stand-up schedule performing over 200 comedy clubs, university and corporate dates a year. He has also been touring the globe with shows in London, Australia just to name a few. His sold out tour of Africa was a history- making event. This show in Tanzania was the first comedy show ever in the country. It was also historical because free testing for AIDS was offered at the venue. Mark is a favorite of many Fortune 500 companies such as Delta, Coca Cola, and Sprint where he makes annual appearances at their corporate events. He’s also a spokesperson for the restaurant chain, Texas Roadhouse. Film credits include “Armageddon”, “Dogz”, “Panther”, and “Fumble Heads”. Mark has also added public speaking to his resume. He does commencement and motivational speaking at the university level. Critically important to Mark is using his talents to support causes around the world as well as in his own backyard. A native of Oakland, CA, he has given countless hours to rebuilding his community. He established Comedy Day at The Park, a free concert featuring over 30 comedians and free sickle cell anemia testing for underprivileged kids.
